If you live in one of our five communities (Pasadena, Altadena, Glendale, Sierra Madre, and La Cañada), there are local public agencies making decisions that affect your life and your neighbors’ lives every day. Here, we break down which groups serve our communities, and how you can get involved.

PUBLIC AGENCIES BY COMMUNITY
PASADENA
The Pasadena City Council meets on Mondays at 6:30pm. Updated schedules, agendas, and meeting notes can be found here.
The Pasadena Area Community College Board of Trustees meets every third Wednesday via Zoom. Monthly meetings, additional meetings, board packets, agendas, minutes, and videos can be found here.
The Pasadena Unified School District meets every 4th Thursday of the month with additional meetings happening on the second Thursday of the month. Upcoming meetings, links, videos, and agendas can be found here.
The Los Angeles City Clerk posts a schedule of all upcoming local elections here.
ALTADENA
The Altadena Library District Board of Trustees meets the 4th Monday of every month. Meetings, board packages, and agendas are all here - the library also posts a calendar of all upcoming civic events in Altadena here.
The Altadena Town Council meets the 3rd Tuesday of every month. The executive board meetings take place the second Tuesday of every month. Monthly Altadena community meetings are posted here. Town Council approved minutes can be found here.
GLENDALE
The Glendale City Council meets on Tuesday at 6:00pm. A calendar of upcoming events can be found here.
The Glendale School Board meets the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 6:00pm in the Board Room of the Administration Center, 223 North Jackson Street, Glendale, California 91206. Additional information can be found here. Board Meeting protocols can be found here.
The Glendale Community College Trustees meet the third Tuesday of every month at 5:00pm. A calendar of upcoming events, agendas, and previous meetings can be found here.
La Cañada
The La Cañada City Council meets the first and third Tuesday of each month. Information on previous and upcoming events, including minutes, recordings, agendas, and schedules can be found here.
The La Cañada School Board meets virtually on the second Tuesday of each month. A schedule of upcoming events can be found here.
Sierra Madre
The Sierra Madre City Council meets the second and fourth Tuesday of each month in the City Council Chambers at 232 W. Sierra Madre Blvd. The meetings typically begin at 4:00pm Council meetings are webcast live and also archived on the City's SMTV3 program archives.
